Quality Assurance Awareness Week was organized by the Quality Enhancement Cell at University of Health Sciences from 14 to 18th April 2014. A number of flexes with basic information about Quality Assurance in Higher Education was placed all around the campus during the week. The QA awareness week was from 14th April till 18th April, 2014 inclusive. The week ended with Quality Assurance seminar in which Director QEC explained the role and various activities of QEC at UHS along with its role in the national and international ranking of the university.



• QEC 7th workshop on counter plagiarism for MHPE students was organized by the Quality Enhancement Cell at University of Health Sciences, Lahore on 16^th May, 2014..  

The workshop was attended by all the students of Masters in Health Professions in Education. Dr. Allah Rakha, Deputy Director, Quality Enhancement Cell was the resource person. Each and every issue related to plagiarism was also discussed in the workshop.



• QEC 6th workshop on filling of the proformas of teacher and course evaluation by students was organized by the Quality Enhancement Cell at University of Health Sciences, Lahore on 2^nd May, 2013.  

The workshop was attended by all the students of University of the Health Sciences, Lahore. Dr. Allah Rakha, Deputy Director, Quality Enhancement Cell was the resource person. Each and every issue related to teacher and course evaluation was discussed in the workshop.



• QEC Fifth workshop on the �Plagiarism Prevention & Turnitin Software� was organized by the Quality Enhancement Cell at University of Health Sciences, Lahore on 2^nd April, 2013.  

The Vice Chancellor inaugurated the workshop and highlighted the importance of plagiarism preventive measures. The workshop was attended by all the faculty members of University of the Health Sciences, Lahore. Dr. Allah Rakha, Deputy Director, Quality Enhancement Cell was the resource person. Each and every issue related to plagiarism was also discussed in the workshop. The participants were taken keen interest in workshop.



• QEC fourth Workshop of Quality Enhancement Cell with Behavioral Sciences and Forensic Sciences Departments was organized by the Quality Enhancement Cell at UHS on 26th Sept, 2012.  


• Awareness Seminar on Implementation Plan at University of Health Sciences, Lahore .  

The Quality Enhancement Cell at University of Health Sciences arranged a seminar on Implementation Plan of the Self Assessment Exercise of University of Health Sciences on 4th May, 2012. All the heads of the departments participated and each and every item that had been identified on the agreed implementation plan was discussed.



• QEC Third workshop on �Role of Implementation Plan in Quality Assurance� was organized by the Quality Enhancement Cell at UHS on 20th Mar, 2012.  

Third workshop titled �Role of Implementation Plan in Quality Assurance� was organized by the Quality Enhancement Cell at University of Health Sciences on 20th Mar, 2012. The Vice Chancellor inaugurated the workshop that were attended by all the Heads of academic departments of the University alongwith the representatives of all the administrative departments. Prof. Arif Rashid Khawaja, Director Quality Enhancement Cell facilitated the workshop. The participants were encouraged to deliberate on the important matters that were highlighted in Self Assessment Exercise that was already been conducted by the Quality Enhancement Cell. The Vice Chancellor appreciated the efforts and assured all the stakeholders that each and every issue that has been highlighted would be rectified. Prof. Arif Khawaja highlighted that such activities by the QEC would improve the quality of education and department of the University.




• QEC Second Workshop on �Role of Assessment Team " held at UHS on 13th October, 2011

The Second workshop under QEC UHS was held on 13th October, 2011 on �Role of Assessment Team)". Prof. Arif Rashid Khawaja was the resource person. All Program Teams (PT) and internal Assessment Team (AT) of all the academic departments participated in the workshop.

The first workshop under QEC UHS was held on 31^st, January 2011 on "Self Assessment Exercise (SAE)". Prof. Amir Ijaz was the resource person. He was nominated as a trainer in Quality Assurance by QA HEC. All Program Teams (PT) of all the academic departments participated in the seminar. It was decided that further hands-on workshops on topics like writing mission statement, objectives and outcomes and filling of self assessment forms would be helpful for the PT's. A total of four workshops have been planned on these topics related to Quality Assurance. The schedule shall be announced in the near future.
